WaveCom systems

Metocean systems design and deployment

We specialise in the design and deployment of MetOcean systems, which includes Radac Wave radar units capable of detecting wave direction, height, period, and tide. These radar units can be integrated with anemometers to provide wind speed, direction, and temperature data, which is displayed on a customised dashboard alongside the wave radar data using our proprietary software package.

Our team of GWO qualified engineers can install MetOcean systems offshore anywhere in the world. Their expertise has already been put to use on the Moray East Offshore Windfarm, where a MetOcean system has improved operational efficiency and significantly reduced operational costs for the wind farm.

ATEX radios and repeaters

At OEG Renewables, we have the technical expertise and knowledge of both the oil & gas industry and renewable industries that enable us to offer our customers a fast, reliable, and responsive service.

We have built an extensive hire fleet of ATEX and conventional radios and can service and repair any radio that is currently in use.

We can also supply for sale or hire the FRX-1 ATEX portable radio repeater which can greatly increase radio coverage in hazardous environments. Strategically placed in Aberdeen, we can service all the communications needs of the wider energy sector.
