Overview
As windfarms become older and the assets within them, it becomes all the more important to establish a programme of preventative and reactive maintenance and repair in order to ensure continued effectiveness and protect asset integrity.
What’s more, most windfarms are located in some hostile environments, constantly at the mercy of the elements, combined with strong winds carrying all manner of particles, such as sand, along with salt from the sea, all adding to the general wear and tear on the assets.
