New Group Management Team

OEG establishes new management team structure to reflect its ambitious growth and diversification strategy.

OEG Energy Group, a leading offshore energy solutions business, is pleased to announce that it has appointed several new management positions to continue to drive the strategic growth of the Group and its complementary business divisions: OEG Offshore and OEG Renewables.

The implementation of this new structure strengthens OEG’s leadership team and its ability to accelerate its ambitious growth plans. Within the group management team are senior appointments within finance, corporate development, health and safety and sustainability as the Group continues to progress its inorganic growth strategy and sustainability initiatives.

In recent years, OEG has rapidly expanded both of its’ divisions through organic growth and acquisition to become a critical component in global offshore infrastructure, providing essential solutions for the offshore energy industries across traditional and renewable energy markets. The appointment of the new Group management team reflects the rapid growth of the business over the last two years and provides the appropriate structure to oversee OEG’s ambition to become a +$1bn revenue business in the next few years.

The new Group management team, which will report to CEO John Heiton, and recently appointed Chief Financial Officer Doug Fleming and Chief Commercial Officer David Carr, has seen the following additions:

Joanne Barbour as Group Corporate Development and M&A Manager will lead the initiation, evaluation, and completion of acquisitions, to execute the Group’s growth strategy to expand its’ service offering and global footprint to position OEG as a leader in the provision of solutions for the offshore energy market. Joanne qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and has 15 years’ experience in corporate finance working as an advisor and as part of a private equity backed energy company on multiple acquisitions globally, predominantly in offshore markets.

Melanie Bruce as Finance Director for the OEG Renewables division, will be responsible for the finance functions within OEG Renewables and supporting the growth of the renewables group. Melanie is a Chartered Accountant who has extensive experience working within private equity backed businesses and international group structures, in a group finance role and has been involved in multiple acquisition and corporate integration processes.

Lisa Elrick as Group Sustainability Manager will lead the Group’s sustainability strategy and implementation of plans to deliver on the company’s net zero goals. Lisa has over 20 years’ experience in senior environmental compliance management and assurance roles working with Exxon Mobil, Dana Petroleum, Xodus and Storegga. She holds a Diploma in Environmental Management, IOSH Managing Safely Certificate and is an IEMA Internal EMS Auditor.

David Lipp as Group Financial Controller will lead the development of the OEG group’s finance and accounting functions. David has over 24 years’ experience in the oil services sector, holding senior financial controller roles at BJ Services, Baker Hughes and TETRA Technologies.

Leslie Scorgie as Head of Group QHSE will lead the promotion of the Group’s safety culture and promote a consistent approach on quality, health & safety, and environmental sustainability liaising with each business unit across the OEG Offshore and OEG Renewables divisions. Leslie has over 20 years of experience working for international businesses in the oilfield services sector in senior HSEQ roles.
